TMR-1 is located north of the bright red star Aldebaran, which is the bloodied eye of Taurus the Bull. Though TMRC-1's parent binary stars are too dim to see, the distinct V shape of Taurus and its close proximity to Orion make the general location of this rogue planet easy to locate in the night sky.
